Increasing industrial and commercial activity in Europe is the main driver of low voltage switchgear component sales. Additionally, smart meter implementation influenced by the European Commission (EC) target for 2020 is expected to increase the implementation of smart equipment, which eventually increases the low-voltage switchgear components revenues. This study presents a full analysis of growth opportunities in the market for low-voltage (less than 1 kV) switchgear, broken down into the following categories: Miniature circuit breakers (MCBs); air circuit breakers (ACBs); moulded case circuit breakers (MCCBs); and contactors.
