Mexico is the second largest market for IT products (software and hardware) in Latin America, after Brazil. The large amount of corporations and businesses in Mexico, combined with an openness of new technology has made this market highly dynamic in nature. The stability observed in the Mexican economy has contributed significantly to the growth in the IT sector. Better economic conditions observed during 2004 have allowed companies and government to refocus all energies on core business issues. As a result, outsourcing non-core infrastructure functions including telecommunications network support is being viewed as an attractive business decision which has had an important impact on the demand for these services.
